Residential Replacement

Assessment and Planning

The first step is to assess your current AC system and determine your cooling needs. A professional HVAC technician will evaluate factors like the size of your home, insulation, and existing ductwork to recommend the right unit for you.

Removal of Old Unit and Installing Your New One

The technician will safely disconnect and remove the old AC unit. This includes handling any refrigerant in compliance with environmental regulations.

The new AC unit is installed, which involves positioning the outdoor condenser unit and the indoor evaporator coil. Proper placement is essential for optimal performance.

Connection and Setup

The technician will connect the refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and ductwork. They'll also check for any leaks or issues in the connections.

Testing and Calibration

The technician will test the new unit to ensure it's operating correctly. They'll calibrate the thermostat and make any necessary adjustments to achieve the desired temperature settings.

System Overview

Once the installation is complete, the technician will provide you with an overview of your new AC unit. They'll explain how to use the thermostat, change the filters, and perform basic maintenance.
